Users of Sentimail® can set up 'sentinels', which look out for user-definable events or conditions anywhere in the accounting system.
Once triggered, the sentinel will alert a pre-defined list of contacts, either via email or SMS, with a customisable message. Sentimail® uses dynamic push-pull technology, which means that users are alerted instantly when an event is triggered.
So if a sentinel has been defined to check for the receipt of an order or payment from a certain customer, the moment it is entered into the system, Sentimail® will immediately alert the necessary contacts with the information required.
