educate2011 Preview: Iris Exchequer Hints and Tips

In anticipation of educate2011 on November 18th we spoke to Jon Rowland of Iris Exchequer this month to get some more information. Jon will be joining us for a Hints and Tips session which will look at the best way to use Iris Exchequer for timesheets, expenses and authorisations. Although Iris have recently released Iris Exchequer LIVE, which manages these services, Jon will be looking at ways in which non-LIVE users can use their existing system to the best of its abilities as well as taking a sneak peak at the new features available.

Hi Jon, What is your role within IRIS and how long have you been working with finance software?

I’ve been with Iris for about 2 and a half years, working as a Business Consultant for the IRIS Exchequer software solution. This involves meeting potential new customers and discussing their business software requirements, demonstrating the software in a pre sales capacity, discussing our project methodology and handling the commercial element in terms of license makeup, quotations and contracts. I’ve been working with finance software since 1995 covering a number of different packages

In your presentation at educate2011 what topics will you be covering?

Hints and tips on the use of timesheets, expenses and authorisations within IRIS Exchequer, showing how different methods of communications can help speed up the business process and increase efficiency.

What type of companies should attend your presentation and how will they benefit?

Iris Exchequer users who are using Job Costing or who are project based; also companies looking at purchase authorisation workflows and those looking at simpler ways of automating expenses and allowing users to remotely send them in.
